The challenge, as always, is to whom to listen. To separate the wheat from other chaff; the fact from the fiction. The digital age has provided an unprecedented platform for fools. And for wise men.

Today, at the beginning of the United Nation’s Decade of Action to deliver sustainable development, people action is seen as key. But how to inform, engage, motivate? Trusted sources of information are required to reach the people furthest behind, support local action and innovation to push for change. Access to the facts, figures, and opportunities we have as a human family to reimagine and reshape the future.

The scale of the challenge cannot be underestimated. Quality education is one of the Sustainable Development Goals.

What can WICMI contribute?  Sharing is giving without losing. By sharing experience and hard earned knowledge we will be giving the necessary tools to enable those in countries – poor, rich and middle-income – to promote prosperity and address social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities.

How best to communicate? To be a trusted source of information? That is the challenge working as a team we intend to address.
