“The best way to predict the future is to create it.” – Peter Drucker

The biggest challenge of the twenty -first century is to take an idea that seems abstract – sustainable development – and turn it into a reality for the benefit of all the people on the planet.

Today business has a responsibility and liability beyond making things and making money. The overarching challenge of the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was simply put by Paul McCartney “There must be a better way to make the things we want, a way that doesn’t spoil the sky, or the rain or the land”.

Is there as simple answer? No. Turning innovative ideas into tangible business outcomes is one of the biggest roadblocks confronting any organization. How to innovate to create long term value, improve employee culture and retention, and gain a competitive advantage.

Here at WICMI we believe that possibly the greatest threat today to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals for future and prosperity of planet and people is the belief that someone else will do it. Simply by sharing our knowledge and experience we can collaborate to discover, develop and capitalize on global best practice.

Big change or small change, they all matter.
